Hive Helsinki is a free coding school that gives you a fast-track path to a future-proofed career.
There are no teachers, lectures, or books at Hive. Instead, you learn coding together with other students and work on practical, real-life projects. No previous coding experience or qualifications are required. The studies last on average 1 to 1,5 years.

Anyone can apply. We only ask you to be at least 18 by the time you start in the Piscine – the coding boot camp determining who makes it into Hive.
At Hive, you will grow into a highly-skilled coder. However, be ready to work: our school requires dedication and time, but gives you high rewards. At the moment, the employment rate of our graduates is 100%.

Our proven curriculum covers fundamental coding languages, starting from C. There are over 100 projects available, covering different paths of specialization in computer science: algorithms and AI, UNIX, systems and administration, graphics and more.
A diploma doesn’t make a good coder. Problem-solving skills, creativity, determination and teamwork do. At Hive, you will be challenged to think outside the box, tackle real-life problems and collaborate to achieve goals. Valuable skills in any career.
