What is Hive?

Hive Helsinki is a free coding school that gives you a fast-track path to a future-proofed career. There are no teachers, lectures, or books at Hive. Instead, you learn coding together with other students and work on practical, real-life projects. No previous coding experience or qualifications are required. The Core Studies last on avarage 1 to 1,5 years.

Coding is a high demand skill with endless possibilities. Our higher-education level studies are designed to unlock your potential, whether you aspire to work in top tech companies, solve big problems in the world or create your own products and services.

Anyone can apply. We only ask you to be at least 18 by the time you start in the Piscine (Hive's version of an entrance examination) or that you have completed comprehensive education in Finland or EU.
