Hive Helsinki’s educational partner, Business College Helsinki, supports students who have not yet completed an upper secondary degree.Through this partnership, you have the opportunity to earn your degree while studying at Hive.
Why?
Studying at Hive Helsinki does not lead to an official degree. Our learning model is based on what you can actually do, not just what you’ve been taught. You’ll build skills by working through real projects and showing what you’ve learned through hands-on experience.
We also understand that some career paths may require a formal degree. That’s why we aim to keep doors open and support different goals, whether you’re heading straight into the tech industry or considering further education later on.
What and when?
By completing a Vocational Qualification in Information and Communications Technology, you become eligible to apply to any university in Finland. For Hive students who do not already have an upper secondary degree, we recommend choosing the Software Developer track.
You can apply to degree studies at Business College Helsinki after you’ve studied at Hive Helsinki for six months. To stay eligible, you need to apply before entering employment.
