Open for anyone, but it’s not for everyone
Hive offers a unique opportunity for people from all walks of life to become capable software developers, regardless of previous education, professional background or experience in coding.
But it’s important to be clear: Hive is not easy and the learning style does not suit everyone. Our fast-track program is structured as a full-time commitment. The 18 months of study at Hive is comparable to three years of study in a traditional education setting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Curriculum & Projects
Hive’s curriculum is rigorous, practical, and rooted in real projects. For 18 months, students work on technically challenging projects that equip them with programming fundamentals. Along the way, they learn to critically assess when to use new tools and technologies, including AI, and when to rely on fundamentals.
Hivers graduate as developers with the technical expertise and confidence to contribute from day one, no matter the stack, team, or challenge.

Hive is a vibrant community, connected to the tech ecosystem.
Through masterclasses and workshops, Hivers learn directly from professionals, alumni, and industry leaders. They gain real-world insights and practical guidance on topics spanning tech, culture, careers, and more.

LAB FOR TECHNICAL FOUNDERS
Creativity, Speed, Entrepreneurship
Hive fosters curiosity, creativity, and a passion for building.
Hivers are encouraged to to rapidly prototype, test, and innovate. Through hackathons and challenges, Hivers build the ability to quickly transform ideas into real, working solutions. Failure is expected and encouraged. Hive introduces students the world of entrepreneurship, making founding a startup feel inspiring and realistic.
Hivers graduate as creative builders who embrace new tools and technologies and lead positive change in the world.
