KELA benefits continue for Hive’s new program

We are happy to share an important update about financial support for your studies at Hive.

Hive has now secured KELA approval for our renewed curriculum. Previous generations of Hive students received KELA financial aid, and this new approval ensures that the same support continues for learners joining our updated program. It is an important step in keeping our education accessible for as many future Hivers as possible.

What this means for you

If you are accepted to study in the renewed curriculum, you will be eligible to apply for:

• Student allowance and student loan, which helps with living expenses
• Housing supplement for students, which supports rent and housing costs

This is a valuable benefit for future students. For many, this support makes the path to studying at Hive more manageable and helps ease the financial side of dedicating time to learning and growth.

How does it work?

Your eligibility for KELA aid begins after you are officially accepted and enrolled as a full-time student. The Selection Sprint period does not qualify for this. For now, you can take a look at KELA’s student aid terms and conditions to get a sense of how the support works.
